4/16/80 AHR registered and licensed. Abner was sired by Alpen Konig out of Liana. He was born at Tempel Farms and came to us as a yearling. He has been a wonderful Haflinger stallion, a joy to own and a plasure to work around. He is trained to ride and has been used as a lesson horse. He has sired many champions and well known Haflingers. His first son, Andre (owned by Kim Spann of Phoenix, Arizona) was for many years the highest selling domestic bred stallion. Another son, Allegheny OOS (owned by Virginia Jennings, New York) was featured on the cover of Horse Illustrated January 2001. He was also on the centerfold! We have daughters and grandaughters in our herd. Abner's contribution to the breed has been significant.
He is truly a living legend!
